If you haven’t heard us talk, you should know we do not like, recommend, or endorse it in anyway. So, in response to being made aware of downloadable “support cards” ( We use that term lightly here.) to alert bystanders of Planned Ignoring being used as a “strategy” to deal with challenging behavior, we took it upon ourselves to create a new visual. This one is to convey to bystanders that developmentally sensible, person-centered, effective, and evidenced-based supports are being employed throughout the entire day, especially when an individual is struggling with dysregulaltion.
