Some of you have questioned why we decided to conduct a community survey focused on problems. The answer is a fairly simple one. Jacquelyn saw a social media post describing an intervention strategy that could be used “to help individuals” understand and react appropriately to problems of different sizes. It is fair to say that she had “some problems” with the “support’’ discussed. On the first page of this document, you will find the cliff notes version of her reactions. In turn, these reactions led to a conversation and pretty instantaneous recognition of the need to Level UP! thinking in this area. On the second page, you’ll find a summary of our conversation as well as some of our initial thoughts and attempts to Level UP! the strategy. These bring us full circle to the “why” of the community survey.
